Manchester Plans Drive In Eatery Called Shrine of Modern Living
Manchester selectmen heard from Guy and Clement Forte about a new drive in restaurant on the former Clement Trainner lot across from Bob West's Circo Station. The plan includes a mainly takeout menu with a small inside area and a Colonial design. The building will be not very large with a neon sign and no car hops. Zoning and sewer questions were raised. a sewer line may limit the site. Trees along the highway right of way will be removed. The Fortes consider management options and possible chain affiliation. no firm decisions were made.
