The 25th annual Green Mountain Girls State session, sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary, will be at Vermont College in Montpelier from June 18 to 24. Six Bennington-area delegates from MAUHS and BCHS will attend with four alternates. The program teaches citizenship through self-governing activity, elections, and a mock legislature. Sponsors include Catholic Daughters of America and other civic groups. Bennington chairman is Mrs. William E. Campbell of American Legion Auxiliary Post 13.
