Bennington caucus hands Humphrey Kennedy slate all 29 delegates
A large Bennington Democratic caucus chose a Humphrey Kennedy slate for the 29 delegates to the State Democratic Convention, giving McCarthy no delegates. The vote totaled 144 for Humphrey Kennedy and 112 for McCarthy with 19 of the 29 delegates reportedly backing Humphrey and 10 backing Kennedy.

UVM To Assist in Summer Youth Program
University of Vermont officials plan to join New York Mayor John Lindsay in a summer program for disadvantaged youths.
