Son-in-law arraigned in fatal East Arlington shooting
Gary Pray, 22, of Bennington, faced a first degree murder arraignment after the fatal shooting of Edouard A. Garneau, 44, at the Garneau home in East Arlington. Pray’s wife, Marion Mickey Garneau, 22, was listed in critical condition with a chest wound at Albany Medical Center. Garneau was pronounced dead at the scene. Pray is held at Rutland facility awaiting further court action.

Hoosick New York report says Salem mayor Harley T. Parrish, 49, was killed in a two car front end collision on Route 67 near the Vermont border this morning. The crash occurred as Parrish was traveling toward the state line. Police and emergency responders arrived at the scene. Funeral arrangements are pending.
