Kauffmann To Lecture At Williams
Stanley Kauffmann renowned New Republic literary editor and film critic will present a public talk titled Looking at Films on May 7 at 8 p.m. in Williams College Bronfman Science Center auditorium. A New York City native, NYU graduate, he has edited for Bantam and Knopf, served as The New York Times film critic in 1966, and taught drama at Yale. His lecture is sponsored by the Williams Lecture Committee.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center hosts a week of modern dance lectures and demonstrations led by Paul Sanasardo founder and star of Modern Dance Artist Inc. The shows run May 5-9 at Spa Theatre with 10:30 am and 1 pm daily and are free. college credit is available through Skidmore and Russell Sage for a four week August course in modern dance.

Dorset Diabetes Clinic To Be Held Tuesday Night
A diabetes screening clinic hosted by the Dorset Nursing Association will be Tuesday May 6 from 7 30 to 9 p m at Dorset Elementary School. Dr Elizabeth Byrnes will lead the event. Mindful of test timing attendees should fast two hours prior and only water may be consumed until the finger prick micro blood test. Eligible participants include adults 35 and older and younger adults who are relatives of diabetics or substantially overweight.
