Music Department Report at Mt Anthony Details Goals and Student Work
The Mt Anthony Music Staff defends its goal of challenging students with substantial musical materials and urges parental involvement. Activities include seventh graders learning notation, the high school orchestra researching 15th and 16th century art and music for Mayfest, chorus rehearsals, woodwind and brass lessons, and a student drafting parts for a newly written piece. The report reflects a three way partnership among student, parents, and teachers.
