Mount Equinox and the Carthusian Charterhouse Legacy
Mount Equinox, once a populated peak, became private and then was bequeathed to the Carthusian Foundation of America. The Carthusian charterhouse rises on the Sandgate side with a granite monastery, its access limited, reflecting a life of contemplation amid the mountain’s enduring presence and Lambert's stewardship.
