North Bennington School names plan for temporary principal
Southwest Vermont Supervisory Union will cover principal duties at North Bennington School during May and June after Robert Kellogg resigned to join the state Education Department. Elementary supervisor Phillip Viereck and Louis Axt will oversee administration. Kellogg will aid on weekends. The district will advertise for a teaching principal for 1974 75 with a bachelor degree and 15 administrative course credits. no master's required. The board will screen applicants, interview eight to ten, and may adjust teaching time versus administration. Additional actions included exploring a kindergarten through Grade 2 progress plan, surveying Grade 5 parents for a Merck Forest trip, expanding a dental program, and milk price increase.
