Sage of Swampacres and the Squirrels at Grey House

In spring thaw around Sage of Swampacres, Mr. Grey, a grey squirrel, repeatedly raids peanut butter treats on the railing and beehive feeder, snatching loot and vanishing into the bog. The red squirrels grow bold, and the writer recalls a memory of his mother feeding greys at Allentown. They joke about trying to shoot at the red squirrels but remain amused as the critters outwit him.
