Final water project plans targeted for April, say Bennington board
Bolles Brook water source development plans are expected by about April 1. Bennington water commissioners aim to award construction contracts by end of April. Attorney Williams reports Whitman and Howard engineer Pittendreigh is securing state and federal approvals. The 3.5 mile pipeline would run along a relocated Vermont Route 9, linking Bolles Brook to village reservoirs. Federal funding and a $188,500 grant support the project amid concerns over plan delays.
