FBI Agent Subdues Would-Be Hijacker
FBI agent disarmed a would be hijacker on a Delta Airlines flight from Las Vegas to New York en route to Cuba. The hijacker, identified as Douglas Alton Dickey a 26 year old from Oklahoma City, was subdued after the plane landed in New Orleans where he faced air piracy charges. John Reed and flight crew thwarted the attempt with a gun in the back of the cabin. A shot was heard from the cabin floor during the incident.
