Supreme Court to Rule on Wildlife Wonderland Plan
Vermont Supreme Court will hear James D. Kinsey's appeal of an Oct. 11 Environmental Board ruling that his 65acre Wildlife Wonderland game farm on a 627acre tract near Route 155 in Weston and Mt. Holly fails four Act 250 criteria. Kinsey argues aesthetics are undefined and that Act 250 allows taking land without compensation. Opponents include the Agency of Environmental Conservation, Mt. Holly and Weston planning commissions, and landowner William Marshall.
