CVPS simplifies bills after customer complaints
CVPS will return to a simplified bill format for its 95,000 customers after widespread complaints about the October introduced charges. The new bills, set to be issued this week, itemized energy related charges and tax components, but will now show total kilowatt hours, fuel and energy charges, temporary charges, and any deferred amounts under the winter summer rate design. A separate APs hearing is scheduled for March 25 in Montpelier regarding discrimination complaints by two Newfane residents based on CVPS rates.
