Danish airliner crash leaves 37 dead at Mehrabas Airport

Milton woman convicted of welfare fraud in Vermont

Patricia Burns, 26, of Milton, was found guilty in Vermont District Court of fraudulently collecting more than $10,000 in welfare benefits. The state said she made false statements to the Social Welfare Department to obtain the payments. Sentencing was deferred pending a presentence investigation ordered by Judge Edward Costello.
