They showcased Arlberg technique lifts and weaponless drills, while Army winter warfare equipment demos and a banquet honor Minnie Dole. Water Department pays down loan on East Mountain project
The North Bennington Water Department reports it paid about 75,000 of its development loan from operating income over the past five years. The total borrowed for engineering surveys drilling and a new pumping station at East Mountain watershed was 120,483.88, leaving a net balance of 45,500 this year as debt reduction continues. The project began as the Water Board faced rising demand for water.
