Kennedy's Body Moved To Permanent Grave
The bodies of President John F Kennedy and his two children were quietly moved about 40 feet to permanent graves at Arlington National Cemetery. Caskets were reburiied near the unfinished memorial as the eternal flame was relocated. Patrick Bouvier Kennedy and an unnamed infant girl lie with him. Guards barred onlookers during the late night transfer amid rain and flood lights. The grave site now aligns with the Lee Mansion, Memorial Bridge, the Lincoln Memorial, and the DC side.
