Rubber Stamp Government Plagued Hoosick Falls Board
Hoosick Falls voters face a village election as People's Party leaders claim the board operates as a rubber stamp for the Independent Party. Richard A. Severson accuses monthly meetings before board sessions and cites budget contrasts from 1961-62 to 1965-66. The vote decides three two year trustees with platform aims including value for money, recreation, lighting, and transparency.
