Zodiacal Light Visible Tonight Says Astronomer Bohne
Astronomer Paul W. Bohne of Harwood Hill urges observers to watch for Zodiacal light tonight and over the next three or four nights. The glow stems from planetary dust near the sun, brightest far out in space, and appears as a finger of light west of the setting sun. Look one hour after sunset, about 6:55, with dark adaptation, avoiding Venus, first peaking near Aldebaran and the Pleiades before dipping toward the horizon.
