Battle over sinking fund sparks village debate
Village trustees plan a March 20 floor meeting on the $60,000 water sinking fund. They favor using the money to cut debt in the 1967 general fund, while water commissioners want to fund improvements to the water system. Trustee Pello opposes using the fund and insists improvements be town financed.
