The Long Goodbye and Jeremy reviewed by Harte
Elliott Gould stars as a transfixed private eye in The Long Goodbye a stylized Los Angeles LA noir that deconstructs Chandler myths with surreal visuals while Robert Altman crafts a lonely ex hero's existential retirement. Cinema II presents Jeremy a self indulgent teen cello drama that stalls with inert romance and melodramatic scenes amid candid judgments on art and youth.
