Hoosick Falls Eyes Aid Carrier If Sewer Overflow Persists
Hoosick Falls faces loss of about 8000 dollars in state aid for the sewer treatment plant unless an overflow issue is corrected. The village board voted to advertise for bids on two contracts to locate the overflow source: televising, mapping and sealing by an independent contractor, and equipment enabling the village to perform the work. Bids are due Monday night, April 16. Mayor Severson says the problem must be solved or aid could be cut off.
