Tension Shaped a Ski Off At Prospect Mountain Junior Race
In a rare finale two boys tied 66.5 seconds after slalom and giant slalom at Prospect Mountain. David Leake, 11–14, and Tommy Tomasi, 15–18, faced a run-off decided by a coin toss. Tomasi opted to go first. Leake retained steady precision despite Tomasi's fall and loss of glasses. Leake’s solid technique drew praise from official observer Mr Campbell of North Bennington.
