Berlin NY Couple Die in Tractor-Trailer Crash
An elderly Berlin couple, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Miller, were killed in a head-on collision with a Columbia Boxboard Co. truck on NY 22 south of Petersburg. The truck driver, Kenneth Campbell of Chatham, was hospitalized in Troy with a possible knee fracture and listed in satisfactory condition. The Miller car was wrecked beyond recognition. Hoff proposed a semi private corporation for importing Canadian electricity, but a committee urged the Public Service Board to buy and sell power within the state, or create a new agency if the task grows too large. The PSB has already approved a non profit importing entity by electric cooperatives and municipal utilities.
