Senate urges quick exit of U S from Indochina

AEC board sets hearings on Vernon plant licensing

Vermont vows strict crackdown on water pollution

Vermont Water Resources Commissioner Martin L. Johnson told a Bennington audience that the 1970 water pollution control act will be strictly enforced starting July 1. Rural homes are a major source, and all dischargers must obtain a state permit and, if needed, a pollution abatement schedule or face fines up to 10,000 dollars and five years per day of violation.
