Cerebral palsy couple plans marriage after brain implant surgery
Larry Ek and Sherry Hamilton, both cerebral palsy victims from Fort Worth and Twin Falls, plan to marry June 20, 1976 after brain implant surgeries in New York. Larry will receive an implanted stimulator in September at St Barnabas Hospital, Sherry to have a similar procedure in August. They say the operations aim to improve muscle control and normal life, accepting risks but continuing their wedding plans and education.
