Seagoing Pigeon Defects to Wasp Aboard the Wasp

A seagoing pigeon on the USS Wasp caused friction with the USS VogE while the two ships patrolled off northern Europe. Cooley Jr. urged stricter screening of future couriers and proper emergency landing briefing. The Voge called the pigeon a deserter, mocking its loyalty and suggesting Captain's Mast and brig detention. The Wasp and Voge are part of a task group near Europe.
