UCS Moves Toward Comprehensive Service in Bennington
United Counseling Service moves to Putnam Memorial Hospital grounds to create a unified community mental health system for Bennington County. The shift enables direct hospital UCS coordination, shared facilities, and teaching space, with future plans for in-hospital treatment of some mentally ill patients and a training role for students.
