Hearing Aug. 4 NERB Files Complaint Against Shea Company
The NLRB in Boston has filed a complaint against Shea Inc of North Bennington and set August 4 for a hearing on unfair labor practices alleged by the UFWA. About half the plant’s workers have been on strike since April 3 with picketing ongoing. The UFWA seeks an NLRB supervised election to form a union local and improvements in wages benefits and working conditions. Shea must answer within 10 days of the notice.

Geneva Agrees on Disarmament Agenda at First Talks
