The Putney Graduate School of Teacher Education, the world’s smallest graduate school, plans to expand travel tours after success of a 13,000 mile southern states and Mexico trip. Dr. Morris R. Mitchell says four groups will run, each with three months at the school and six months traveling, visiting the United Nations, TVA projects, Mexican regional schemes, and US schools as part of broad social justice and educational reforms.

Stratton Vermont sees phase two growth with four Tyrolean chalets nearly finished and a dozen more in progress behind the base lodge. Plans include a 30 acre lake, pool, tennis, amphitheater and golf, plus lodging for up to 771 people. Stratton Tax Drop Tied to Stratton Corp Development
In Stratton a population of 37 sees a tax shift as Stratton Corp adds over 400000 in value, lowering the tax rate from 7.17 to 4.87 and replacing International Paper Co as the town’s largest taxpayer. County listers say the firm’s fair market value would nearly erase town taxes, while stockholders claim groundwork investments exceed 1.75 million.
