Bennington hospital marks 50 years since first patient
Henry W. Putnam Memorial Hospital in Bennington celebrates a half century of service after admitting its first patient on June 10, 1918. Since then more than 100000 patients, over 25000 births, and extensive modernization funded by donations and private gifts have shaped the facility and its leadership.
