North Shire school group agrees to mark time
Manchester four town committee of school directors voted to pause toward a Grade 7-12 union plan pending state Board of Education action on Burr and Burton Seminary. Board decisions June 9 and 19 on BBS funding and upgrades will steer future options and potential bond issues. If BBS is not approved, directors may shift to a Grade 7-9 union, while concerns about financing and public oversight loom large.
