Sunderland Tornado Strikes Town Causing Major Damage
A small twister hit Sunderland just before 6 p.m. last Thursday, bringing down power and phone lines for over a day in parts. Earle Hill farm suffered over 5000 dollars in silo and roof damages. Everett Randall farm faced extensive tree loss, a maple top collapse on the home, and a barn blown off its foundation. Roadways blocked by trees disrupted traffic for hours as lines were slowly restored.
