White Creek Homecoming Festival A Two Day Event
White Creek New York plans a two day homecoming festival at Jermain Methodist Church on July 31 and August 1. Highlights include Robertson family folk art and music with old time square dancing, a flea market, and a Sunday art show and hymn sing. North Bennington News Highlights and Alumni Meeting
University of Rochester reports Robert H. Nowak of North Bennington on the dean’s list for the spring term. Baptist Church Women’s Fellowship hosts a Saturday 10:30 a.m. bake sale at McCullough Library, with drop-off by 10 a.m. Edith Burns chairs, Grace Cherbonneau and Sue Briggs assist. North Bennington High School Alumni Association held a dinner dance and meeting at Mt. Anthony Country Club with 118 attending. Charles Comstock led the event as several deceased members were honored. Notable attendees include Mrs. Bessie Farnham and Arthur C. Jones, Class of 1907. New officers for the year: Ronald Loomis president, John Lauzon vice president, Susan Moore secretary, Joyce Mattison Scarey treasurer, Robert Guttman publicity.
