Obituary of William Henry LaFlamme Jr dies at 2
William Henry LaFlamme Jr two year old son of Mr and Mrs William LaFlamme died at Putnam Memorial Hospital Thursday morning of acute leukemia. He was born July 9 1963 and lived with his family in Albany area. Survived by parents two sisters Laurie and Cathy maternal and paternal grandparents and many relatives. Friends may call Gibney Haynes and Kane Funeral Home today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Services Saturday 10 am at the funeral home burial at Park Lawn Cemetery.

In Washington Avenue’s upper neighborhood a group of youngsters held a lively backyard carnival with a wishing well and games to raise funds for muscular dystrophy, netting about 15 dollars. Local families aided with refreshments as youths aged 7 to 13 ran activities, with some planning similar events last year and this year’s more elaborate setups. The event showcased community spirit with decorations, dinosaur displays, and help from moms.
