Lion in Winter at Williamstown theater review critique
Williamstown's Lion in Winter opens to critique as a witty but plotless domestic comedy about Henry II, Eleanor, and their sons. Cast struggles with delivery though Joyce Ebert aligns with Goldman’s intent, while Robert Darling's simple set serves the staging. The piece aims for modern humor over historical accuracy, leaving some talent underused.
