Beaverson Discusses Village Transport Costs and Policy
Beaverson explains that reducing the Beaverson policy to seven tenths of a mile would raise costs for Hoosick Falls pupils. He cites at least 35,000 dollars extra, with state aid covering 90 percent only for certain distances, and states that rural deviations would need more buses and possible parent contracts. The board upholds a one mile policy for all students, with a 334.27 budget including transportation policy approved.
