Arlington residents back revised town plan with building code ideas
At a public hearing chaired by Ken Nicholson the Arlington planning commission reviewed a 52 page revised town plan. Attendees urged map accuracy to meet Act 250 and discussed avoiding urban sprawl by concentrating retail near Routes 7 and 313 while housing stays rural. A building ordinance and sanitary regulations were favored to fill gaps in state rules. The plan will go to the selectmen for a final August hearing.
