Books Reviewed by a Free Library Critic in Bennington Piece
A local reader recounts vacations and library visits while critiquing several titles. Jonathan Penner's Going Blind disappoints with a depressing arc and dull romance. Honor Tracy's The Man from Next Door also lands as a bomb. Ralph McInerny's Her Death of Cold pleases with Father Dowling. Bartholomew Gill introduces a new sleuth in McGarr and the Politician's Wife.
