A new 400 foot sandy beach, seven two bedroom cottages, refitted pavilion, and 25 new picnic tables mark the opened playground. Taconic Park Cottages Change Hands in Williams Town
Michael Nicholas announces transfer of management of the Taconic Park Cottages to Gerard E. Smith. The cottages near the Taconic Trail were the first overnight tourist accommodations on the Pittsfield Bennington road. Ex Gimbels floor coverer opens shop in Shaftsbury
Henry Freely, former Gimbels tile master mechanic in New York City, opens a new showroom on the west side of U S 7 in Shaftsbury.
