St Pauls Church to Rise in Manchester VT Edicts Implemented
The new St Pauls Church on Bonnet Street in Manchester Center will be the first Vermont Roman Catholic church to implement Vatican Council liturgy prescriptions. Architect Pay son Webber of Rutland designed a 500-seat radial lay out with baptistry central, confessional bays, parish hall, classrooms, and a two-step sanctuary. A $60,000 minimum campaign aims toward a $300,000 project with Bishop Joyce presiding at kickoff July 11 and a multi-stage fundraising timetable through July 23.
