Frog Hollow crafts festival opens July in Middlebury
The Frog Hollow Craft Center in Middlebury sponsors a four day ark festival July 1 4 from 10 a m to 4 p m inviting about 50 professional artists and craftsmen from Vermont and beyond. Demonstrations and shop displays accompany galleries outdoor sculpture garden and a Vermont Symphony benefit concert July 3 at 8 15 p m at Middlebury College Field House.

A silver wedding anniversary was held June 24 at the Pownal Center Fire House honoring Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Bisson of Pownal. The couple wed June 21, 147 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Relatives from New York, Massachusetts, Vermont and California joined 90 guests for a three-tiered cake, corsages, and music by The Informals of Williams Town.

The Christmas Dove in Sunderland opens this weekend owned by Vi and Bill Day. The store will offer Christmas decorations displays and wreaths as well as artificial towers music boxes and gifts. Franchise with Christmas Cove of Rockport Mass run by Filie and George Ingerman. The building has 1,880 square feet and was built by Joe Meyer of Arlington.
