Village Schools Plan No Major Summer Repairs
Bennington Village ISD superintendent Allan J Heath told trustees no major summer construction or remodeling is planned for the three district buildings this year. Only routine maintenance by district crews is needed. He noted a bus engine replacement after a failure, upgrading from 283 to 327 cubic inches, due to underpowering. In Washington, President Johnson created a 10 member panel to study civilian and military pay scales, with a report due by April 1.
