Off Broadway Flops Stir Mixed Theatre Reactions
Broadway reviewer notes two New York Shakespeare Festival productions fall short. Jinxs Bridge aims for levity but ends thin. Shortchanged Review is dated and poorly written. Casts include Tom Costello and Kate Weiman. Public Theater space hosts ambitious yet uneven experimental work. Panama Hattie revival shines with Mary Ellen Ashley and strong numbers.
