Noisy snowmobiles face Vermont landowner balance debate
In Montpelier a Natural Resources Committee hearing heard Sierra Club Vermont Nordic Council and Green Mountain Cub testify on snowmobile trespass. Landowners urge that trespass burden shift to riders while advocates seek controlled use and designated areas to protect property, wildlife and quiet rural life.
