Hoosick Falls Police Notes Report Quiet Weekend
Hoosick Falls Village Police report a quiet weekend with two incidents. Bruce Hunt, 20, of RD 2, Hoosick Falls, was arrested at 12 01 a m on Church Street for failure to keep right and will appear in village court tonight. Earlier, Samuel Johns, 18, of 114 Church St, caused minor damage in a collision with Miloslav Kanuska of Johnsonville. Johns faced three charges driving without insurance, an unregistered vehicle and improper plates and appeared before Justice William Fitzpatrick who postponed the case to tonight.

Conservation Society names Michelé Frome as assistant director
Michelé Frome of Townshend was named assistant director of the Conservation Society of Southern Vermont. A Williams College graduate, she has worked with the Vermont Natural Resources Council and the Bennington County Regional Commission, and interned with the EPA, U.S. House, and Massachusetts Audubon Society. She will assist with Act 250 projects, water quality research, public affairs, and the society’s summer camp and publications.
