Poster Recalls Old Schools in Hoosick Falls
In Hoosick Falls Central School lobby a poster by Peter Smith shows 21 of 22 former district schools framed by antique car outlines. The message asks which old school students would have attended if the investment in the modern 1961 building had not occurred. The board sold or demolished all previous sites, including Walter A. Wood High, Main Street, Center Street, Classic Street, Parsons Street, and others across Hoosick, White Creek, Pittstown, and surrounding areas.
