Hickok released on bail in New York firearms case
Stephen Hickok, 26, of Bennington, released Monday from Albany County Jail on a $1,000 bail bond after being charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition without a New York State permit. The District Attorney’s office may reduce the charge to a misdemeanor. NY State Police found the investigation complete. Hickok also denied involvement with third degree grand larceny case assigned to David Weeks. He and his wife planned to meet with attorney Arthur J. O’Dea about an impending receivership auction for the Bennington box shop on Jan 29, citing $1,300 in back taxes paid Friday. A correction noted a typographical error misstating Richard H.
