Manchester priest to preach at unity service amid prayers
The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John G. Nolan will deliver the sermon at 11 a.m. in First Congregational Church during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Nolan heads the Catholic Near East Welfare Association and presides over the Pontifical Mission for Palestine, serving 18 countries and 1.2 million Arab refugees. He is a Mechanicville native with advanced degrees and multiple honors. The service is led by Rev. Jerome J. Hevey Jr., with Mozart’s Gloria sung by the Chancel Choir.
