Mount Anthony High School Fire Plan Proposed on Main Upgrade
An engineer's report to the Mt. Anthony Union High School board urges extending a 10 inch water main along Park Street to reach any part of the new building within 500 feet of hose. Hydrants on the main are proposed, with costs around 13 000 dollars, plus alternatives via the four inch service line or a smaller main. The board cautioned action pending chairman Morrissey's return, while the Bennington water board backed the plan and the water department showed no objection to the school board's decision.
