Vermont lawmakers found a Health Department booklet detailing a $4.5 million bond request to expand two health laboratories. Salons To Give Priority To Regional Airport Bill
One of the first actions before the 1968 session is a $600,000 regional airport bill. Endorsed by joint Republican caucuses, it would create state-owned airports with 30 percent state funding. It must go to a conference committee for financing. Speaker Mallary suggests bonding may be used if surplus funds are insufficient.

The court found the state Highway Department may condemn 100 acres for 1.4 miles of the new road costing 5.6 million dollars.
